The Toronto Maple Leafs have chosen to move back in tonight's NHL Draft, even though two of the best defenders are still available.

Leafs get 31 and 58 from Anaheim
With this transaction, the Maple Leafs are able to return a portion of the draft capital they have utilized in previous years to make last-minute acquisitions. The Maple Leafs' decision to enter the second round given that their next pick was supposed to come in the fourth round makes sense.
Stain Solberg became the second player from Norway selected in the first round when he was selected by the Anaheim Ducks right away.
