Philadelphia Flyers and Minnesota Wild complete a first round trade
A deal has been finalized between the Philadelphia Flyers and the Minnesota Wild in the first round of tonight's draft.
The NFL draft is highly subjective, and you could lose out on a player you really want because of one pick. The Minnesota Wild believed strongly that a trade with the Philadelphia Flyers could occur tonight, and they pursued that course of action. Minnesota completed a deal to advance in the draft while the Flyers were up to select.
Through a trade, the Minnesota Wild were able to advance to the 12th overall pick.
#Flyers have traded No. 12 overall to #mnwild in exchange for No. 13 and a 2025 3rd Rd Pick.
The Minnesota Wild then used the 12th overall pick to select Zeev Buium, who is a proven winner and won championships at all different levels he had played at.
