Tonight, an announcement has been made by the French Olympic Team that Pierre Crinon will face discipline for his fight against Capitals forward Tom Wilson.
Team Canada came into today’s game against France needing a big win to avoid potentially playing Sweden in the Quarterfinals.
With that in mind, Canada came out firing on all cylinders looking to put up as many goals as possible.
In the process, Canada tallied 10 goals on France securing themselves a better matchup.
However, coming out of this game, the focus is not on Canada as a whole but instead on Tom Wilson and Pierre Crinon for their seldomly seen fight at the Olympic Games.
As a result of the fight, Wilson and Crinon were both swiftly ejected opening themselves up to further discipline from the Olympic Committee and their country’s Olympic council as well.
Tonight, the French delegation confirmed that Crinon will have a meeting to discuss his fate after his questionable actions.

Following the expulsion and Pierre Crinon's attitude during the France-Canada match, Pierre-Yves Gerbeau, president of the FFHG and deputy head of the delegation, will summon the sanctioned player as early as tomorrow to shed full light on this incident, in the presence of the DTN and the staff.
