Marc-Andre Fleury's wife, Veronique, threw a glamorous retirement gala for the netminder, and it was attended by Ryan Reaves and many other star NHLers.

Marc-Andre Fleury's wife, Véronique Larosée Fleury, threw a retirement party over the weekend for the iconic goaltender, which attracted some current and former NHL players, such as San Jose Sharks forward Ryan Reaves, and their significant others.
On Sunday, Véronique shared a slideshow of the evening's highlights. A photo showed a formal dinner table with crystal glasses and decorated plates and rows of tall candles, against the backdrop of projected hockey highlight reels in honor of Marc-Andre Fleury.
"Had the most amazing weekend celebrating with our people. So grateful for all of you, who traveled from near and far to celebrate Marc's career. Thank you nadiasaputo for helping me plan the most perfect event and thank you thisisver for setting the most perfect vibe. Hearts are full!'

Another featured a guest holding up a "Congrats Flower" sign as the audience applauded.
Black-and-white photo booth shots showed guests posing with the guest of honor, and the final slide showed an outdoor lawn party, with friends in swimsuits holding up the same congratulatory sign.
Fleury officially retired in May after the 2024-25 NHL season and a brief stint with Team Canada at the IIHF World Championship.

Teams Have Phoned Inquiring About Fleury's Availiability, But He Won't Play Next Season

According to his agent Allan Walsh, multiple NHL clubs phoned on July 1 to inquire about a comeback, as a result of a thin goaltending market. Despite genuine offers, Walsh confirmed Fleury will not be making a return.
Fleury, a 1,051-game regular-season player across 21 years, has 575 wins, second all-time in the NHL, with three Stanley Cups in Pittsburgh (2009, 2016, 2017) and stints in Vegas, Chicago, and Minnesota.
