Seven NHL teams have just placed 22 players on waivers, as clubs continue to make adjustments to get ready for the start of the regular season.

It has been an extremely busy last few days in the NHL with teams making significant cuts to their rosters as they prepare for the 2025-26 NHL regular season.
On Sunday, we saw a whopping 23 players hit the waiver wire as teams looked to move players down to the AHL, and on Monday, we have nearly as many once again, with 22.
Of the 22 players, two include goaltenders, with one of them being a goalie that has the same name as former Pittsburgh Penguin and two-time Stanley Cup winner Matt Murray.
Here is a look at the full list of names:

Brind'amour, Skyler
Seeley, Ronan
Aube-Kubel, Nicolas
Gleason, Benjamin
Jones, Ben
Kiersted, Matt
Gravel, Kevin
Lucchini, Jacob
Murray, Matt
Mutter, Navrin
Oesterle, Jordan
Blidh, Anton
Dowling, Justin
Fix-Wolansky, Trey
Pouliot, Derrick
Grans, Helge
Labate, Joseph
Maceachern, Mackenzie
Patera, Jiri
Schuldt, Jimmy
Di Giuseppe, Phillip
Shaw, Mason

All 23 Players Placed on Waivers Yesterday Have Gone Unclaimed

All 23 players waived yesterday have cleared, as no teams have put in any claims for them.
It is unlikely that we will see any of the players waived today claimed by another team because many clubs are trying to cut their rosters down to be NHL compliant before the regular season.
However, there are always exceptions to the norm each and every year, and it could very well be that one of the names on today's list will be among those claimed.
Could the Penguins attempt to claim any of these players? Tune in at this time tomorrow to find out who was claimed.
