As a coach, a person is expected to be a guide to the team; to teach them techniques, improve each game, and be a personal model, especially in minor hockey. Sometimes, coaches see themselves more as authority figures, and unfortunately cross the line far beyond what it means to guide a player into the right ways to play hockey.
As per Hockey News Hub, a Russian minor league coach was seen repeatedly striking one of his players bench with a stick. Below is a video link of the brutal incident.
Hopefully this guy isn't coaching for long. Geesh. 🇷🇺
Not only is this completely reprehensible and disgusting, but it seems according to another Twitter account, this isn't the coaches first time acting violently towards his players, in which case it's way past time for this man to be tossed out of any league, period.
This act from the coach is absolutely reprehensible, and unsurprisingly with such an prolific and public display of abuse, this isn't the first time with this coach. According to another Twitter account, this coach has previous allegations of abuse towards minor hockey league players.
in 2020, he attacked the referees. earlier parents of young hockey players complained about him
as you can see, he is still training children

This behaviour and actions from a coach is completely unacceptable, and for this, the coach should undoubtedly be banned from ever coaching in any league again.
