Patrik Laine is gearing up for his first season with the Montreal Canadiens, and fans are very excited to see what he is able to accomplish.
He has been given new linemates, although so far, the chemistry is still in the midst of being developed. As a result, Laine had some frustrations at camp. This is especially true as he was reportedly being pushed around by Florian Xhekaj. It resulted in Laine going back to the Habs bench where he let out a loud roar. Clearly, frustration was bubbling over.
Other journalists remarked the same exact thing. However, it was also noted that Laine continued to build chemistry with his teammates throughout the day and by the end, they were looking a whole lot better.
This is encouraging, and we're sure Laine is motivated to strip himself of the narratives that have been plaguing his career as of late. Hopefully, it is a season to remember for Laine and the Canadiens.
Laine has plenty of time to get acclimated to his surroundings. However, he also needs to keep a cool head. He is running out of grace, and if his stint in Montreal doesn't work out, he may be out of the NHL entirely.
