Pittsburgh Penguins forward Bryan Rust, who was heavily involved in trade rumours coming into this season, said he has no interest in going anywhere else with the trade deadline looming this week.

The trade deadline is now only days away, and the Pittsburgh Penguins could actually be buying this time around despite what most fans and analysts thought coming into this season.
There were multiple rumours surrounding names like Bryan Rust, Rickard Rakell and Erik Karlsson, but GM Kyle Dubas wasn't able to find a trade partner for them, and they remained on the roster.
Right now, the Penguins would make the playoffs if they started today. But even so, there are still rumours that Dubas wants the team to get younger.
With the deadline approaching, Rust made it clear that he has no interest in going anywhere else.
It's a hell of a lot more fun having these conversations about us winning and kind of moving forward the rest of the year instead of other conversations sitting on pins and needles and thinking about what might happen. It's a whole lot more fun that way, and I think that I've always been extremely happy to be here, this is home. Everything I've done in my adult life has been in Pittsburgh and I honestly don't want to go anywhere else. - Bryan Rust
Rust reached 20 goals scored for the eighth straight year in today's 5-0 win over the Vegas Golden Knights.
