After the worst home streak in franchise history, the Pittsburgh Penguins are being told how they can turn things around by GM Kyle Dubas, who is in his third year on the job.

The Pittsburgh Penguins just had six straight games on home ice, and lost them all. Two of the losses included stunning losses to the San Jose Sharks and Utah Mammoth after they led by multiple goals.
It is now the worst homestand in franchise history.
Penguins GM Kyle Dubas recently talked about how the team can get back to the winning ways that saw them get off to a much better start to the season than most fans and analysts would have realistically expected.
The foundation is there. We just have to get back to it. I've said from the beginning, when I addressed the group in September at training camp to where we're at now we have a mix of veterans and very young players within that. You're gonna have your rough water.

If everyone rows in the same direction, we'll come out of it because of the foundation that's been set. But we have to get back to that foundation. - Kyle Dubas

Dubas is in his third year on the job as Penguins GM after being let go from the same role with the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2023.
Right now, the Penguins aren't getting much luck against the Ottawa Senators, down 3-0 after the second period of play.

The Penguins Have Now Lost Six Straight Games And Had Multi-Goal Leads In Many Of Them

The Penguins were stunned by the San Jose Sharks over the weekend, leading 5-1 entering the third period before losing 6-5 in OT.
The Penguins then lost a multi-goal lead against the Utah Mammoth, and, even though they came back to tie the game, they would lose in OT.
Pittsburgh was then beaten 6-4 by Tristan Jarry and the Edmonton Oilers in what was the debut in a Penguins sweater of goaltender Stuart Skinner.
