Former Pittsburgh Penguins forward Mike Rupp has confirmed that he'll no longer be a part of
Penguins television broadcasts as an analyst moving forward.
Rupp, who is also an analyst for NHL Network, said that he had a great time in his role with the Penguins.
I had a blast being in the booth with Josh [Getzoff] calling Penguin games. It was a great experience.
Rupp split the color commentary duties along with Colby Armstrong and Phil Bourque on a rotating basis. However, it will only be Armstrong and Bourque moving forward, along with regular commentator Josh Getzoff.
Rupp, who lives in the NYC area and would commute to Pittsburgh for his assignments, will continue his work as an analyst on the NHL Network, headquartered in the city.
