Penguins announcer goes viral for electric call on Sidney Crosby's record breaking goal
Pittsburgh Penguins announcerJosh Getzoff is going viral all over social media for his electric goal call on captain Sidney Crosby's OT GWG today in Columbus.
The Pittsburgh Penguins have now won five games in a row thanks to the ageless Sidney Crosby's overtime GWG today against the divisional foe Columbus Blue Jackets.
The Blue Jackets had a 4-1 lead by the first minute of the second period, and even though they appeared well on their way to handing the Penguins a loss, it was Pittsburgh who forced their way back into the game with three straight goals to tie things up, followed by Crosby's heroics in OT.
Not only did Crosby go viral on social media for his latest accomplishment which made him the first player in NHL history to get to 50 career overtime points, but Penguins announcer Josh Getzoff also was making the rounds for his electric goal calls during the win.
Penguins Announcer Josh Getzoff Fainted During A Game Earlier This Season
Penguins announcer Josh Getzoff gave fans a scare earlier this season when he passed out during the intermission of an October game against the Anaheim Ducks at Honda Center.
He reached out to the fans who sent in well wishes and messages of support to thank them:

He's called Penguins games for the last 10 years and is now in his third year with SportsNet Pittsburgh on TV broadcasts.
