Sidney Crosby's future has been a major talking point in recent times, and now agent Pat Brisson has left the door open to a trade following recent comments.

For months now, fans have been intrigued by the idea of Sidney Crosby potentially playing anywhere other than Pittsburgh, with many looking into the idea of a trade this off-season.
To this point however, the long-time Penguins captain has turned down the notion of a trade, but with the team potentially pushing towards a rebuild, there's always a chance that things could change.

Sidney Crosby's Agent, Pat Brisson, Is Open to a Trade

According to agent Pat Brisson however, the door is always open to a trade, with speculation once again continuing to grow about his future with the Penguins, the only NHL franchise he's ever known to this point.
"I mean, I'm answering something that let's put it this way, it's always a possibility, you know? It's been three years they haven't made the playoffs. It all depends on how Sid is going to be and how the team is going to do."
Obviously, Brisson once again puts this all on Crosby, revealing that it all depends on his client and how well he plays, but if he continues at a high level but the team struggle to break out of their three-year Stanley Cup Playoffs drought, it firmly appears as though all options remain on the table.
For now though, he'll begin the 2025/26 campaign with the Penguins, looking to help turn this team around after some lean years, but with the team potentially pivoting towards a rebuild, this could be the beginning of the end of Crosby in Pittsburgh.
