There aren't many professional athletes who take better care of their bodies than longtime Pittsburgh Penguins captain and franchise icon Sidney Crosby, who is about to enter the 21st season of his Hall of Fame career.
It's hard to believe that it's been this long since the infamous "Crosby Sweepstakes" of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft which the Penguins won, using the 1st overall pick to take Crosby.

Crosby was one of several participants in the NHL Media Day recently in Las Vegas, and you could say that he's laser-focused.
At the same time, Crosby understands why he's been rumored to potentially be traded from the Penguins at some point, as he's still playing at an elite level while the Penguins have no chance at winning a Stanley Cup any time soon as his career winds down.
I wouldn't say I hate it. It's part of it. That's the thing that sucks about losing. When you lose, that's what comes with losing - that speculation. When you win, there's no speculation. It's: 'Who are they picking up? Who is the deadline acquisition?' When you lose, it's: 'Who's going?' That's the crappy part.
This upcoming season is also likely going to be the final year in the career of his longtime teammate Evgeni Malkin, who isn't under contract beyond this season.
There could soon be major changes with the Pittsburgh Penguins, and Crosby could potentially be a part of them at some point.
