Today, the Pittsburgh Penguins had a special version of practice featuring a few unexpected faces on the ice with their star players.

The Pittsburgh Penguins have continued their hot start to the season under new head coach Dan Muse.
The Penguins mixture of young players and established stars have unlocked the team's true potential.
With the good results also comes unexpected pressure to continue winning.
On top of the pressure to win, the Penguins are likely still reeling after losing crucial forward Rickard Rakell due to a hand injury today.
Today the Penguins' got together for a fun family moment to regroup and get away from the pressure of the grind.

Unexpected Faces Take Part in Penguins' Practice

At the end of the Penguins' practice today, reporters caught several kids including the son of the Penguins equipment staff on the ice with Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, and company.
This moment for the Penguins is a great way to give back to the staff who support them so much during the year while also enjoying some light hearted fun to remind them why they played the game to begin with.
As for the earlier portion of practice, Crosby was seen with new linemates now playing alongside Bryan Rust and Filip Hallander.
This trio is still good but will certainly place more pressure on Crosby to carry the load offensively as Hallander is more of a two-way winger than a scorer like Rakell who he replaced.
The Penguins will now face the St. Louis Blues tomorrow night as they continue to try and take the NHL by storm and push for a Stanley Cup Playoff spot.
