The Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby shocked the crowd with a $1 million throw on Pat McAfee's Big Night AHT variety show last night.

Widely criticized over the course of his career, Pat McAfee, a former football player, pulled out all the stops last night at the Penguins' arena to get back on the fans' good side.
Let's not get into the whole thing, but McAfee's views and actions have not been well received in recent years.

Sidney Crosby Throws a $1 Million Football

Sidney Crosby has been impressing hockey fans for over 20 years with his great leadership and skills on the ice.
Last night, he impressed a lot of people with his football skills. Indeed, Crosby - who played football when he was a kid - was invited to Pat McAfee's Big Night AHT variety show.
In front of thousands of fans, alongside teammates Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang, former Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, as well as Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes, Crosby threw a football through a target to add $1 million to a jackpot, which a fan from the audience would take home.
"I have no idea what to expect, to be honest with you." - Sidney Crosby before hitting the target

Check out how it went down in the following video:

Crosby Is Still Shining Despite Team Struggles

The Penguins will miss the playoffs once again this year. Even though his team has been struggling this season, Crosby still has success on the ice - notably scoring seven points, including five goals, in his last five games.
So far this season, the 37-year-old captain has scored 87 points in 77 games - his 20th consecutive point-per-game season in the NHL.
Crosby and the Penguins will be back in action tomorrow against the New Jersey Devils, who finally clinched their playoff spot last night and confirmed that the Carolina Hurricanes would be their first-round opponents this year.
