A pair of exciting prospects for the Pittsburgh Penguins in forward Tristan Broz and goaltender Sergei Murashov will take part in the 2026 AHL All-Star Classic as was announced today.

There are numerous prospects within the Pittsburgh Penguins' system that they hope will be part of the next wave of talent to bring the team to contention, both of whom have already gotten some NHL experience this year.
Forward Tristan Broz has played one game for the Penguins so far this year, and goaltender Sergei Murashov has played in five games.
Both players, who have spent the majority of the year playing for the American Hockey League affiliate Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, have been recognized for their accomplishments and have been named as participants in the upcoming 2026 AHL All-Star Classic.
So far this year with the WBS Penguins, Broz has 26 points (13G, 13A) in 34 games, and Murashov has gone 13-4 with a .927 SV%.

The Penguins Hope Sergei Murashov Is The Goalie Of The Future

The Penguins understandably have big hopes for Murashov, who they took with the 118th overall pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.
He's posted impressive numbers this year in the AHL with 13 wins in 18 total appearance with an equally impressive .927 SV%.
During his time up with the Penguins, he went 1-1-2 with a .897 SV%, but there is still plenty of time to iron that out at the NHL level.
Broz was taken by the Penguins with the 58th overall pick in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft; he previously played for both the University of Minnesota and the University of Denver before starting his professional career with the WBS Penguins.
