Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe provided some insight into Max Domi's injury during a recent interview.

Domi sustained the injury last week but toughed it out to play on Saturday's game.
"Max Domi on the ice at Leafs optional skate

Missed practice yesterday and is considered day to day with an undisclosed injury "
"I wouldn't say flare up, it was just more so he's been dealing with something that's been going on for a while and he felt it's not going to affect him to play. And I don't think that was necessarily the case. So not any worse or anything, it's just now about managing it."
With Domi sidelined and Bobby McMann also out, the Leafs are left with just 12 healthy forwards on the roster, limiting Keefe's options heading into the playoffs.
Leafs forward Ryan Reaves emphasized the significance of staying healthy in the playoffs and acknowledged the challenges that come with it.
"You're going to need 16 forwards, 10D, whatever it is. You hope not to, you hope to stay healthy, but that's just not the reality of playoffs. And so everybody's got to stay ready, everybody's got to stay positive whether you're in or out of the lineup, and you just got to make sure everybody can contribute when they have to."
