Toronto and Nick Robertson have settled at $1.825M
All arbitration is done.
Robertson played in 69 games for the Maple Leafs this year and had 22 points (15G, 7A).
Kyle Dubas said he didn't plan on being active in free agency
Earlier in the summer, Dubas said that he didn't plan on being overly busy in free agency and that fans could
expect the kind of summer they had last year.
The types of players you can expect are not dissimilar from last summer. I would be surprised - unless if they were (restricted free agents) or trades - that we would do long-range deals with players. But we've got a number of players in mind that I think we can give opportunity to. They won't be the one-year contracts. They'll maybe be two or three where we could see if they can be a long-term part of what we're trying to do here and be a part of when the team is back in contention.
Dubas is coming into his 3rd year as Penguins GM, and has yet to yield a playoff spot.
