Matt Rempe ripped to shreds after challenging Milan Lucic to a fight

Now, Rempe is already looking ahead to the upcoming season and some of the guys he might fight. In fact, at a recent autograph signing, someone asked who he would love to go toe to toe with. Surprisingly, Rempe said Milan Lucic, who was extremely feared when he was in his prime.

Subsequently, the comments section over at Hockey Forever HQ made sure to give Rempe a piece of their minds. As you can see from the quotes below, they do not think Rempe would have a chance, whatsoever. In fact, it seems as though Rempe is not very well-liked by the average hockey fan.

Some fans even compared him to Jake Paul due to the fact that he wants to fight a guy who is so much older than him. Having said all of that, there is no guarantee that Lucic even plays next season. The league has to clear him for action, and they have yet to do that. Simply put, Rempe can keep dreaming.
