Major Update Emerges on Penguins Forward Following Concussion

The Pittsburgh Penguins haven't had Phil Tomasino in their lineup since April 5 when he suffered a concussion, and the latest update on his health is out.
Pittsburgh Penguins forward Phil Tomasino
hasn't been able to play since sustaining a concussion against the Dallas Stars on April 5 and has missed the last three games.
But the latest update on his health from head coach Mike Sullivan indicates that not only has he been on the mend but that he could potentially return soon.
Per Sullivan, Tomasino will be a game-time decision for tomorrow afternoon's game against the visiting Boston Bruins at PPG Paints Arena.

Tomasino has played in 59 games this year, scoring 21 points (10G, 11A). He was acquired by the Penguins in a trade with the Nashville Predators in November; the Penguins sent a 4th round pick in the 2027 NHL Entry Draft back to Nashville.
He can become a restricted free agent on July 1.
Pittsburgh's game against the Bruins on Sunday is the 81st game of the year; they'll close things out by meeting the Washington Capitals on Tuesday before breaking for the summer.
