Penguins Make Surprise Move: 6 Players Hit Waivers Before Season Opener
The Penguins have made the surprising move of placing a whopping six players on NHL waivers today, as the regular season draws ever so close.
As the NHL regular season quickly approaches, teams are making last-second roster cuts, which include sending a large number of those players down to the American Hockey League or to their respective junior clubs.
The Pittsburgh Penguins are no different, as the team has waived a whopping six players today, which is part of a larger list of a total of 22 players.
