Sheldon Keefe under fire for disrespecting the Maple Leafs players
Following the Leafs' loss in yet another Game 7 last night to the Boston Bruins, Sheldon Keefe didn't hold back in his post-game talk.
The Toronto Maple Leafs faced another disappointment, unable to clinch a win in Game 7 against the Boston Bruins, falling short in overtime with just one goal. This left Leaf fans and players disheartened, especially after their comeback from a 3-1 series deficit.
In his post-game press conference, Sheldon Keefe faced tough questions about his team's performance and the Leafs' overall situation. He pointed out that opposing teams often set the stage for the Leafs to defeat themselves.
Sheldon Keefe said, "When teams play the Leafs, they set up the game for the Leafs to beat themselves."
Fans and analysts didn't take Keefe's comments lightly, using them to question whether he's the right coach for the Leafs at this moment.
I can name 10 people, at least, both on and off the ice that should not be with the Toronto Maple Leafs next season.
Sheldon Keefe is near the top of the list. These postgame comments last night, on their own, are a fireable offense
