Montreal Canadiens Score A Very Bizarre Goal Confusing Everyone Watching

During the Montreal Canadiens vs. Tampa Bay Lightning game at Amalie Arena, the peculiar goal unfolded midway through the second period. It occurred after what seemed like a play stoppage, but the officials hadn't blown the whistle.
Despite the confusion, Canadiens goaltender Samuel Montembeault seized the moment, urging his teammates to take advantage. They did, scoring an unusual empty-net goal in the midst of the second period.
