Auston Matthews and the Toronto Maple Leafs are in for a big season as they try to go far in the playoffs for the first time in decades.
Right now, the team is in training camp and it appears as though they are getting loose and having some fun out there. For instance, Matthews recently got into it with his teammate Matthew Knies. Overall, it was all just a joke and it is nothing to be taken seriously.
That said, Matthew Knies came out and said that he beat Matthews in a recent tennis match. Matthews takes tennis seriously and when the media told him about Knies' remarks, Matthews came back with a vengeance. Essentially, he called his teammate a liar but laughed it all off.
It was a funny lighthearted moment that shows how the Toronto Maple Leafs have a ton of chemistry. This is a team that is in for a special season, and we cannot wait to see what they are able to do, moving forward. Only time will tell whether or not they can finally break the curse of 1967.
