NHL fans left disgusted and insulted by Fanatics' absurd jersey prices

Overall, it is made worst by the fact that Fanatics is also making the jerseys for the players. It is a bit of a weird move especially when you consider all of the issues that the company has had when it comes to their quality control. Today, however, the official jersey prices were revealed, and they are downright insane.

According to The Fourth Period, there are four tiers of jerseys. You have practice, breakaway, Premium, and Authentic Pro. The practice jerseys start at $120 USD. However, the Authentic Pro jerseys are $425 USD which is absolutely absurd and downright unheard of.

NHL fans are insulted and downright disgusted by these prices. As you can see down below, there were many fans who likened all of this to some sort of scam. Sure, it might be a bit of an overreaction, but it is just how people are feeling right now.

Fanatics does not have a good reputation, and to charge these prices feels criminal in some kind of way. The fans work hard for their money, and they shouldn't have to spend double market prices just for some jerseys at retail.
