The Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube dropped a major update on Anthony Stolarz's injury in a press conference.

Goaltender Anthony Stolarz played an important role in the Leafs' success in the first round of the playoffs against the Ottawa Senators, with a .901 save percentage and 2.19 goals-against average.
Unfortunately for the Maple Leafs, he had to leave the ice during the first game of the second round against the Florida Panthers due to a questionable hit from former teammate Sam Bennett.
Prior to that incident, Stolarz also displayed worrying signs after receiving a puck on the mask, which could have been the source of his injury:
Stolarz hasn't been able to play since, leaving the workload to Joseph Woll.
Today, following a 5-4 overtime loss to the Panthers in Florida, Berube held a press conference and shared an update on the goalie. He stated that while Stolarz is recovering in the right direction, he hasn't returned to the ice and is unlikely to return in the second round:
"He's progressing in the right direction. He has not skated yet."

He also talked about his team's situation, what they need to do to beat the Panthers, and what they're going to focus on going into the fourth game of the series:
"After the game, everybody is upset, obviously. You can really let it go the other way, or you can grab it, fix it, like I said, make some adjustments, what we need to do better, and focus on getting that message through to the team."

"We knew that it was going to be a long series. We're always prepared for a long series. We have an opportunity going into Game 4 tomorrow and get a split, and that's what we've got to focus on."
The Leafs and the Panthers will be back on the ice tomorrow night for Game 4. Joseph Woll should be sent on the ice, with Matt Murray available as backup.
