Why Mitch Marner might be a good fit for the Golden Knights

Mitch Marner is entering the final year of his deal with the Toronto Maple Leafs, and as a result, there are now rumors that Marner could be traded to a team in need.
Marner has had some disappointment with the Leafs and at times, it is clear that the pressure can get to him. Consequently, Bleacher Report believes that Marner could be a trade target. Not to mention, he comes with a hefty price tag that the Leafs may just have to pass over. Especially since they have one series win in the last few seasons with the Auston Matthew, Marner, John Tavares, and William Nylander core.
"Marner has been a brilliant player for the Leafs, and Toronto has clearly been better off having him than not having him. But the playoff failures over the past few years have offered up different scapegoats, and the most recent one is Marner. This season also happens to be Marner's final year under contract with the Leafs, which naturally causes trade talk to happen."
As Bleacher Report rightfully points out, trading Mitch Marner would be incredibly difficult. At the end of the day, there is just simply too many factors at play here and the Golden Knights would need to move heaven and earth to make it a reality.
"How the Golden Knights would make a trade for Marner work out on their end or for what the Leafs would demand in such a move would require a Ph. D. in accounting and sports management. But if the Leafs were going to move their next best player behind Auston Matthews, sending him to the Western Conference would be the right idea, and Vegas is always more than willing to entertain a massive trade if it means acquiring an elite player.
