Under Sheldon Keefe, fans wanted to see Nylander get tried out at center. However, after just a few games at center last season, Keefe changed course almost immediately. With 98 points last season, it's not like Nylander was out their struggling. That said, with a new head coach in Craig Berube, there could be a chance that we see Nylander get more reps at the center position.
In fact, when asked about playing center, Nylander seemed to throw some shade at his former coach. One has to wonder if there was some animosity there.
With Craig Berube at the helm, it will be interesting to see whether or not the Leafs can secure themselves some more playoff success. Is one thing is for certain, it is that there is a lot riding on this year, and the Leafs need to start getting it together. Otherwise, they might just have to blow it all up.
